The muon’s anomalous magnetic moment is one of the most precisely measured quantities in physics showing a long-standing tension between the experiments and the Standard Model. In recent years, new theoretical and experimental advances have deepened the mystery, adding complexity to the puzzle.
In this talk, we will explore the muon’s g-2 puzzle and introduce Lattice QCD as a powerful approach for computing hadronic quantities. We will see how this approach allows us to obtain predictions for the hadronic contributions to g-2 and plays a crucial role in resolving one of the biggest anomalies in particle physics today.
